To escape the brutally cold winter of 2016, Michael and Sue once again headed to Thailand, to the island of Koh Samui. This was their fourth trip to Thailand in the last 20 years, but their first time to Koh Samui.
It was definitely a resort holiday and just what they ordered! No white water rafting or elephant safaris, just a wonderful mix of a great beach-side hotel with a good pool and pool bar;,lots of good local restaurants; and cheap, fantastic relaxation treatments for boys and girls – massage, facials and pedicures being the “Woollies” favourites. They also used the opportunity to do further research on the proposed move to Europe (living the dream!)
The renowned Tree Tops Restaurant was just up the road, so the Woollies indulged with a degustation menu one beautiful evening.
